Wondering what to do for spring break?

“Earth to Woodcroft! Do you read??”

This Spring Break, the Edmonton Public Library will be taking participants in grades 1-6 out of this world with special classes and events all around the city! Many follow a space theme including rockets, Jedi and fantasy. Woodcroft will host special guest Metis Fiddler Brianna Lizotte, offer shadow puppetry, coding and more. Newcomers: “New to Canada? Things you need to know” is a presentation on March 22 at 5pm where you can learn all about library resources that can help you learn about free classes, homework help, school upgrading, resume/cover letter, improving computer skills and English Language Learning. This is for those who have questions about settling whether they are are new to Canada or if they’ve been here awhile and is offered in partnership with Edmonton Immigrant Services Association (EISA).
