The North Glenora Community League is thrilled to be hosting a screening of the documentary film “A Ball and a Stick”. The film tells the story of a grassroots lacrosse team established in North Glenora in 1966 that went on to represent Alberta at the Canada Summer Games just three years later.
We will be joined by some of the former players for a Q&A session where they will share their memories of the team and of North Glenora “back in the day”.
There will be a cash concession to support North Glenora Community League programs.
