Make Music Edmonton promotes live music, both amateur and professional, of all styles and genres. This follows a French tradition called “Fête de la Musique”. Every summer solstice (June 21st), musicians offer free music in the streets. Spontaneity, availability, curiosity are the key words of this singular day. It began in Paris many years ago and now takes place in more than 700 cities in over 100 countries!
