With your help, we send cards to North Glenorans to mark important passages in their lives. They could be celebratory ones: a birth or adoption, a wedding, an important achievement, or a landmark anniversary or birthday.
We also send cards in times of confusion, pain and sadness: the death of a family member, a major illness or surgery, or a setback. We send cards of appreciation, and we welcome new residents to North Glenora with a card.
All of these cards are donated and hand-delivered, costing the League nothing but time. While most folks find that receiving such a card is a nice surprise, there are some for which it has a bigger impact because it arrived on a particularly difficult day or it reminded them that someone cared. We rely on you to let us know to whom we should send a card and why.
