|September 28, 2015||Community Meeting at Westmount Presbyterian Church
“The building has been designed to achieve very close to net zero energy performance. The energy modelling so far indicates that the housing capable of being the first net zero energy multifamily building of this scale in Canada. The heating energy load on the building has been cut by over 50% by using very high levels of insulation, air tight, thermal bridge free construction with high performance windows and heat recovery ventilators. The roof has been designed to accommodate a photovoltaic electricity array that, combined with a geothermal system, is large enough to provide all of the heating, hot water, lighting and appliance energy of the course of the year.” Peter Amerongen

|June 9, 2015||Westmount Presbyterian Church Development Update
On June 9th, 2015 neighbouring residents to the Westmount Presbyterian Church received a letter to say that the WPC had submitted their application to rezone. A site plan, elevation and recap of the community’s feedback to the developers can be found on line at https://northglenora.org/development/westmount-presbyterian-church/. Residents interested in following progress of the application can find it at http://maps.edmonton.ca. The developers have committed to holding a public meeting for residents to reiterate the feedback they have received and how it has influenced their project. The meeting will occur in late August or September.

|April 27, 2015||Intermet Housing is in the process of compiling and responding to the most recent round of community feedback on their proposed development. This should be complete by end of April, and will be submitted to the City of Edmonton along with their application for rezoning of the property. The submission package, including updated elevations, and how they have responded to community concerns through the pre-submission period will be included. They will ensure that the submission package is sent to the Community League.
Intermet has committed to at least one more community meeting to review community feedback and how they have responded to in in their rezoning application.
