June is Community League Bike Month!

Dust off your bikes and get ready- the 2026 Bike Month Challenge is almost here.
From June 1 to 30, this city-wide event is a fun way for Leagues to promote active transportation and
recreation through friendly competition. Last year, 30 Leagues rode nearly 144,000 km- roughly four
times distance around the globe! In 2026, we’re looking to blow that record off the roads and trails. Who’s ready to go further?

Join North Glenora’s Community League’s STRAVA CLUB:North Glenora Wheel Spinners now to start logging your kms. Or email your totals weekly to Reese at [email protected]

Need help? Contact: Reese Heidecker at [email protected] or feel free to flag them down as they
ride around the neighbourhood (with 1-10 kids in tow).

How to Compete:
Leagues will face off for prizes in three distinct categories:
– Total Participants: Get as many neighbours riding as possible! I know for a fact that many North
Glenorians ride their bikes for all sorts of reasons and fun, let’s build community and BRAG about
it.
– Total Team Kilometers: Track those long and short distance treks, every km matters.
– The EFCL has a Scavenger Hunt: Check it out, specific locations on the list! Grab a neighbour
and ride around together
