A reminder that the school is able to fund most of the field trips at the school for free for students, and this is due to the nearly $80,000 we receive from volunteering at the casino every 2 years. Please sign up and ask your family members, adult children, and neighbours for their support as well! You can always sign up to be a backup volunteer which we would only call on if there was an emergency and we didn’t have someone show up for their shift.
There are lots of evening spots (cashier, chip runner and countroom). Most of the volunteering time for the chip runners and countroom volunteers will be spent in the volunteers lounge where you can watch tv, read a book, socialize or work. Countroom volunteers have 1/2 the shift length as the other shifts.
