Did you know? In 1999 North Glenora Community League buried a time capsule near the hall. 25 years later, we are unearthing it!
In preparation for our celebration, we want to connect with residents who have lived in the community since the 90s, or even earlier. We’d like to talk to you about what life was like in North Glenora 25+ years ago and if you remember when the community buried the time capsule or if you contributed something to the capsule, we’d love to hear your story about it! We plan to celebrate long-time residents as part of our time capsule reveal. Put it in your calendar! We will open the time capsule on Sunday June 22nd. Here are the events we have planned so far for this momentous occasion:
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Opening the capsule and celebrating long-time community members
5:00 PM: Potluck supper with 90’s trivia
7:00 PM: Dance
