Break & Enter Message

Please read the message below about some break and enters and attempted break and enters along 110A Ave. We’d like to take this time to remind people that if you see anything or anyone suspicious in the neighbourhood make sure to contact 911 immediately.

If you have been the victim of a crime make sure to report it to the police so they can increase their presence in the community and hopefully catch those involved.

Message from NGCL member:

Dear North Glenora Residents,

There has been quite a lot of activity of thefts and/or attempted break-ins along 110 A Ave.  I have caught a couple of incidents on video surveillance and was hoping that maybe someone from the neighborhood could recognize any of these people or the PT Cruiser from the video below.  Also, I wanted to send these out in case you were recently broken into.

This first incident occurred on Monday, December 9th at 5:08 am (the time is one hour off on the video).  A person drove up in a PT Cruiser and walked up to our travel trailer and stole the battery.  After loading it into his car, he came to the garage and tried the door and took a look in the yard.  My security light had burned out so the video quality is not that great however the clothing of this individual is quite clear.

The second incident happened on Thursday, December 12th at 2:18 am.  This individual tried to get into my neighbors garage around three minutes earlier and walked past our garage.  He then came back at 2:18 and walked into the yard and seemed to hide for a little while to see if we were awake.  He then proceeded to try the  garage door to find it locked.  I replaced the security light bulb and this video quality is a lot better than the first.

I am sending this out to hopefully identify these people and to also remind the residents of our neighborhood to ensure their doors are locked and anything that could make for a quick grab is put away.  Also, if anyone has any incidents along 111 Ave (110 A Ave alleyway), please feel free to contact me and I will gladly try and see if I can find anyone on video.

If you have any information regarding these videos, please contact me at [email protected]
